MY STORY
From High-Volume Hospitality to Guiding People Back to Nature
Stepping Away from the Noise
Almost two decades ago, I moved to Australia and built a life working closely with people. I spent years in hospitality, leading large, diverse teams of up to 40 people across NSW and Victoria before co-owning and running a hospitality and catering business for more than seven years. I was privileged to be part of people’s lives during meaningful moments—organising weddings, special occasions, bringing people together, and creating spaces where genuine human connection could happen.
Like many founders and leaders, years of working in demanding roles eventually led to burnout. I realised I had spent much of my life living in survival mode—always pushing through, running on high cortisol, and rarely slowing down.
The turning point came through nature. Stepping into Australia’s national parks was the first time in years my nervous system truly relaxed.
Today, I own and operate Beyond Guidebook, taking global travelers into Australia’s most beautiful national parks, and Healing Trails, creating 1-on-1 space for locals to slow down, regulate, and breathe again.
Having worked with people of all ages, backgrounds, and cultures throughout my life, what continues to inspire me is witnessing what happens when people step away from screens, leave the noise behind, and let nature do what it does best. I am driven by purpose above everything else.
